On 23 Feb it was 38 years that Herbert Howells sadly passed away. But due to his skill as a musician and family man his legacy will always live on. The picture to the right is the memorial in Westminster Abbey.

Unfortunately in this current climate no events are planned. As soon as it is practical to do so we will publish details here and advertise to our friends.
Our Society aims:
​
For the Promotion of the knowledge and appreciation of the works of Herbert Howells. ​Encouraging young musicians in the Forest Of Dean by way of bursaries. ​Organising concerts and talks and providing a trophy for the Cheltenham competitive (Music) Festival.
